What we did
Today we were finally back at rehearsal!!! For the first time since last Thursday. The first thing that we did was we went through all the scenes that had music in them for RDA Music Captain Scarlet Darling to work on. Then, we decided on bows with Hailey and Scarlet and hit final poses (after the reprise of the show song at the end). Then, we ran through the whole show song after having done previews yesterday including the final poses that we’d just decided on. After that, we played a quick game of Czechoslovakia, then did a full run-through of the whole show!

Production Insights
The show is on Wednesday, so this week is technically tech week! Those words have always been harrowing to me as an actor – except at ASC theater camp. At ASC theater camp, tech week is just another week of rehearsals in our on-campus rehearsal spaces, Grafton Library and Deming Theater, and in the Blackfriars’ Playhouse. Here’s what they don’t tell you – being on the other side for tech week is just as nerve-wracking as being an actor. I am learning how to act in a supporting role to the actors on stage and backstage, and if I may say, they are making my job super duper easy! Each and every one of the unique and talented actors in this cast brighten my day every time we convene for rehearsal, and I cannot wait for them to display their work for an audience on Wednesday!
